The fall open house will be in October this year, but the date is yet to be determined.  It will be a Saturday in October.  Please keep checking back for the date.  We will also be hosting an Open House during the Olympics in February 2010.  Again those dates are yet to be determined as well.

The Philadelphia Curling Club succesfully defended our title of the MidAtlantic Curling Association (MACA) trophy this year to bring the trophy home for three years in a row.  Thank you to everyone that curled in the events at our club and at the other MACA clubs of Plainfield, Chesapeake and Potomac, and also to the organizers of the various teams and the events at each club.

Thank you to everyone for another great curl-a-thon.  We had another great turn-out and many items were donated for both the silent auction and the ticket auction with proceeds going to Jeff Harris’ charity, NTAF Mid-Atlantic Spinal Cord Injury Fund (http://www.transplantfund.org/).  There was fun for the 24+ hour event with great games over night in the wee hours.  The corporate event was great as well with six teams vying to be the best!  Again thank you to everyone that came and made this another successful year.
