Open House

Philadelphia Curling Club Open House

Learn to CurlSaturday, February 27, 2010
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

The event is open to the public — Stop by anytime during the day!  All you need to bring is a second pair of clean sneakers, loose clothing (i.e., track pants), and a jacket/sweater (it gets cold on the ice).  A minimum donation of $5 is requested to participate, with the proceeds from these donations used to fund the addition of our wheelchair access ramp.

Curling club members will be on hand to introduce you to the club and the sport of curling. You’ll even be able to get out on the ice a little bit to give this great game a try.

Children 18 years of age and younger will require parental/guardian permission before access to the ice.  Due to the expected high traffic and interest in curling this year due to the Olympics, we will not be able to accommodate children under the age of 10 years old to try out curling on the ice during the open house.  They are welcome at the club and can see the ice.  We apologise for this inconvenience.

Come on out and try a Winter Olympic Sport!
